Turn round - International Healthcare Group

We helped one of the world’s main providers of specialist healthcare information systems to restructure and turn round its business in the UK.

We worked with the local managers to analyse workstreams and assess the effectiveness of different business units. We quickly drew up and put into effect a plan to cut costs and focus on opportunities for growth. We spotted underperforming managers and provided support.

We led the restructuring programme and the consultation with the trades unions. The changes were successful. We subsequently helped the group to set up managerial controls and measures, and advised it on all local personnel matters.

All our consultants have been senior line managers. They often work with local managers to home in on the main problems, develop plans for implementation, and coach future leaders. The insights gained and lessons learned remain long after we have left.
